Actor Lance Reddick, best known for his assisting work on the John Wick action film franchise, died last week at the age of 60, his publicist said. Reddick died suddenly of natural causes on Friday morning, according to a statement by publicist Mia Hansen.

Tall, with a shaved head and a penchant for portraying humble but commanding authority figures, Reddick later played a similar role as a metropolitan police chief in the Los Angeles drama Angeles Bosch, a series on the Amazon Prime streaming service.
He has also appeared in two series co-created by JJ Abrams, beginning with the fourth season of ABC's Lost. The character was quickly killed off and Reddick joined the cast of Fringe, a Fox series in which he played the head of the FBI's paranormal investigation unit.
