Many Pakistani comedians have gone to India to work in various shows and films. Naseem Vicky has also worked on the Kapil Sharma Show. This show became a phenomenon and Kapil Sharma became a successful presenter after many years of stand-up comedy. Its program is used by all major Bollywood actors to promote their films. From veterans to stars like Shahrukh Khan, Akshay Kumar and Deepika Padukone, they have all starred in one or other projects on The Kapil Sharma Show.

Pakistani artists Atif Aslam, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and Momal Sheikh were also part of the show. Although Pakistanis have a great talent for comedy, we don't have a great show like Kapil Sharma Show to showcase it and also Shakeel Siddiqui, a veteran actor who worked in Bollywood for many years, had opinions as to why he didn't have a great Show like this made. Speaking to Hafiz Ahmed on his podcast, he said that we don't have stars like Shahrukh, Salman or Akshay who put effort into the show to make it a big hit. They perform on the show, while our stars specifically state that they will not perform when they come for an interview. He also said they had great writing teams and budgets, which we also lacked.Shakeel went on to say that we are doing very well within our limited budgets and available resources.
